Blooms of Bristol

Greetings and Well Wishes!
It is far too long since my last newsletter! We have been adjusting to life in the floral and gift business in Bristol, Indiana and I must say we are still amazed at not only the support and encouragement that the people of the Town of Bristol has shown to our shop but the outlying communities have done so as well. A million thank yous!!
The summer seemed to pass so quickly. The nights have cooled down, autumn is here. It is a bittersweet time because everyone hates to see the lazy days of summer gone, knowing that before we know it, it will be coooold! We have decided to make the transition a little easier and celebrate the changing seasons with a FALLFEST this weekend, Saturday October 9th 9:00-4:00 and Sunday October 10th 11:00- 4:00!
Anyone that knows me is aware that this is my favorite time of year. I do love ALL of the seasons, (yes, even winter!) but autumn just touches my soul. The vibrant colors, the smell in the air, the warm days and cool nights all blend together to make it a truly wondrous time. You just know that our little corner of the earth is winding down for a nice long, much deserved rest.
Since it is my name out there on that sign with the adorable sunflower and it is my favorite season I have decided to throw a party!! Sounds like a good plan to me!! Cindy Mannia, my business partner and financial advisor, says “Do it, let’s spend some more money!”
(She didn’t have to tell me twice!!)
We are going to feed corndogs to anyone who wants to stop by, made by Bristol’s very own HINSDALES FARMS! If you are thirsty we will have liquid refreshments. (Don’t get too excited, no alcohol!) And for the sweet tooth, we are going to have cupcakes made by Bristol’s finest cake artisan, our sweet ‘neighbor’ RASCIA.
There will be face painting for the kids and a ghostly craft! And to make them a little more hyper we will have a cotton candy machine!
In case you had not already guessed, we are extremely excited to be throwing our first FALLFEST party!!
